Essential Highlights 12Days from Ho Chi Minh City

(Overview)

Vietnam is roughly divided into three main regions: Northern Vietnam, with Hanoi as the capital city, is renowned for its graciousness and millennial culture; Central Vietnam, with Hue -the former capital of feudal Vietnam for 143 years- has always been famous for the magnificent architecture of its imperial citadels, royal palaces and mausoleums; and Southern Vietnam, with the vast green area of the Mekong River Delta crisscrossing the landscape beyond one's sight. Wherever you travel in Vietnam, you will always feel the warm, natural, and hospitable concern and cheerful demeanor of the friendly and peace-loving Vietnamese. With no less than 54 ethnic minorities adding to the richness of Vietnamese culture, centuries old traditions and customs are still evident in Vietnam's everyday life: Embroidery, ceramics, basketry and lacquer ware- are all available to visitors interested in bringing home something unique from Vietnam.
