Day 1: Ha Noi Arrival (D)

Arrive at Noi Bai Airport. Meeting with guide and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Ha Noi - Ba Be Lake (B)
AM: Depart for Ba Be Lake, an mountain area, which is nearly 200 km far from Hanoi. Arrive on midday. PM: Visit Ba Be area : Nang river, grottos, waterfall. Overnight at ethnic village, namely Pac Ngoi, where visitors can get to know about Tay People. Enjoy daily meals of ethnic minorities.

Day 3 : Trekking from Ba Be to Tay's villages (B)
AM: 7 hour hard trekking to visit Tay's village accompanied by local guide. Take away lunch will be arranged. It takes 5-hour walk to the village - spend time with ethnic people.

Day 4: Trekking back to Ba Be Lake - Leave for Tuyen Quang (B)
Walking back Babe lake. Free time on this day for leisure, taking picture…
PM :Depart to Tuyen Quang, an old headquarter of Viet Nam Revolution. Lunch on the way. Overnight in hotel

Day 5: Tuyen Quang - PingVillage - Ha Giang (B)
AM : Depart to Ha Giang town in 4 hour. Transfer direct to PingVillage. One of the the most beautiful village in Ha Giang province. Arrival to Ha Giang, check in hotel and free time. Your own way to have dinner.

Day 6: Ha Giang - Dong Van (B)
Depart in the early morning to visit the wonderful world of ethnic minorities people. Going on the moutain with many impressive sceneries and visiting many basically ethnic villages and colourful weekly markets. Lunch at Quang Ba town. (there is a sunday market in DongVan town)

Day 7: Dong Van - MeoVac - Vi Xuyen (B)
Turn back to Ha Giang from Dong Van. Continually to discover some cheerful and colourful ethnic Markets on the way. Lunch at Yen Ninh town. Enjoy Thanh Ha resort hot stream. Visit H’mong villages and Trang village near Thanh Ha Resort.

Day 8: Ha Giang - Pho Rang - Bac Ha (B)
Am: Leave for Bac Ha via Yen Binh, Tuyen Quang province. This day is a hard traveling by car but there will be beautiful scenery on route. Bac Ha, hill tribe people from far and wide make the weekly journey to trade goods at the busy Sunday market, their heavily embroidered clothing and distinctive headdress adding color and vibrancy.

Day 9: Can Cau market – Bac Ha (B) (on Saturday only)
Visit Can Cau Market - an outstanding feature of ethnic people in the North. Or visit Bac Ha market which is organized weekly only in Sunday. 2 hour trekking to discover villages of ethnic minorities (SanDiu, HaNhi, Xa ...) that remain natural and unspoiled by tourists. Buying souvenir from ethnic people. Short walk to discover some surrounding villages (4-6 hours) with local guide.

Day 10: Bac Ha – Sa Pa(B) (on Sunday only)
AM: Visit Bac ha market on Sunday morning. Then transfer to Sapa. Trekking to the H'mong and Red Dao villages of Ta Phin hamlet, we are introduced to a different way of life as we enjoy the genuine hospitality of these hill tribe people. A truly satisfying day filled with insight and the un spoilt beauty of nature.

Day 11: Sapa – Lao Chai - TaVan (B)
Enjoy the overall pictures of the villages among terraces. Visit the H'mong living in wooden and bamboo houses. Transfer by jeep and trekking to Ta Van village to visit the Dzay minority. Take the road to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Dzao minority via the paths between terraces and through bamboo forests. Visit silver waterfall and suspension Rattan Bridge, visit the people in the village and then cross Muong Hoa River up to the mountain to visit the last village of the trek - Supan village of the H'mong. Get back to Sapa by jeep. On the way back, enjoy visiting the ancient stone circle where stones are decorated with ancient carvings. Check in hotel in Sapa.

Day 12: Sapa - Than Uyen (B)
As we traverse Tram Ton Pass, the highest mountain pass in Viet Nam, we are afforded magnificent views and experience a dramatic change of climate.

Day 13: Than Uyen - Mu Cang Chai - Yen Bai (B)

Am: continue to Yen Bai. Stop over in Mu Cang Chai. Sometimes steep and often rugged, the road through the valley is both breathtaking and dramatic. Hugging rice terraced mountainsides and fording turbulent rivers, our travels today are visually spectacular. Enjoy sightseeing on the route. Stop over at Yen Bai.

Day 14: Yen Bai – Thac Ba lake - Hanoi (B)

Am: Take a boat trip to Thac Ba hydro-electric reservoir in Yen Bai. Enjoy sightseeing and stop for soft trekking before returning to Hanoi.

Pm: 17h00 Arrive Hanoi.

Overnight at Hotel in Hanoi.

Day 15: Ha Noi departure (B)

Am: Free time for shopping

Pm: Transfer to airport to leave Hanoi
End of Northern Tour
