The city’s authorities have allowed five clubs to open their doors until 2am to serve tourists.
They are Vegas club, New Phương Đông, Camel, Seventeen Saloon and Young Music Club No.1, with dancing, art performance, karaoke and drinks allowed.
This represents a move by Da Nang to satisfy local people and tourists’ desire for entertainment at night.
Under the current rules, all entertainment centres have to close at 12pm.
Previously, the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Institute for Economic-Social Research and Development asked the local government to approve the Bach Dang tourism street, which operates from 6am-11pm.
